Jacqueline and Matt

Jacqueline and Matt's wedding was the last wedding of the year for us, I think we went out with a bang. The day started with a big snow storm that had us pretty worried, but by the time the wedding started the snow had stopped, the roads were plowed, and the sun was out. For something diffrent from the norm the bridal party had sparklers when Jacqueline and Matt exited the church, which made for great pictures. No one was set on fire.

Matt surpised Jacqueline at the end of the night by dressing up as Santa Clause. They danced to "All I Want for Christmas" which was really cute.

Carolyn and Derek

Christmas time was definitely the theme of Carolyn & Derek's wedding celebration. From the invitations and flowers to the quick (due to the cold) photo shoot at Dicken's Village in Maplewood, to the decorations at the Winfield Scott Ballrooms where the celebration took place.

Carolyn brought in a multitude of Christmas trees, lights and ornaments that turned the ballroom into a Christmas wonderland.

Linnea and Michael

This weeks wedding was absolutely infused with color. From the beginning the mixture of light, flowers, and backgrounds were intoxicating. The bride continued this theme with decoration and detail. The scene was a photographers playground. Needless to say we took advantage of this cornucopia delight.

This was Doris' favorite picture from this wedding. The bride exuded beauty and was the personification, in this picture

Stella and Chris

This past Saturday's bridal party was HUGE with 36 people. The events of the day could have gotten hectic but thanks to the extremely cooperative group, everything went smoothly. As a result we got some great shots. here's a little taste:

Sarah and Craig

The weather was gorgeous last Saturday, and the fall foliage was at its peak. Sarah and Craig are a fun loving couple that really know how to party, and their reception showed it!

We spotted the ring bearer at the church prior to the ceremony...

A future photographer in the making! ;)

Barbara and Carlos

Joel and I just did an engagement session with Barbara and Carlos at Sunnybank. The weather was a bit nippy, but we had a great time anyway. What a fun couple; great to photograph! I'm really looking forward to their wedding. I KNOW they'll have fabulous pictures. These are a few of my favorites from the session.

Kathryn and Rommel

Kathryn and Rommel's wedding was really beautiful. Everything took place at the Meadow Wood Manor. The staff there was very friendly, and extremely helpful. The floral designer did a really great job decorating. I've never seen centerpieces like the ones they had. There were flowers and oil lamps hanging from huge tree branches in glass vases, which gave a really nice ambience to the party. Speaking of which, the party was really fun! EVERYONE was dancing. The money dance was fun to photograph, The guests found very inventive ways of attaching money to the bride and groom.

There were so many nice details from the wedding I wanted to make a seperate image to show them off.

Website of the Month

We just discovered that our website has been named "Website of the Month" by Pechman Imaging. We are honored by this distinction.

Andrea and Michael

In addition to beautiful weather and blue skys, last Sunday's wedding at The Old Mill Inn had a special appearance by "Hokie Bird" Virginia Tech's Mascot. He was, as you can tell by the picture, most welcome.

Also, I managed to get pictures of Joel and Doris (my parents) on the job! I placed results of the pictures they were shooting next to the ones of them.

Janine and Joel

Finally! After 10 days of solid rain, the sun came out! What gorgeous weather for all the couples getting married this day! Our wedding took place at the Sheraton Crossroads in Mahwah.

Special thanks to Janine and Joel for taking such good care of us, the videographer and the DJs with our own table in the reception room. We really appreciate it!

We were also flattered that Janine and Joel booked us to photograph their wedding from California, strictly by viewing our website.

Joel, this should hold you till you get your proofs. ;)

Also, one of the guests at this wedding was taking his own photos with this camera from the 1950's. I'm sure it's seen many weddings!

Aelicia and Dave

After over 20 years of photographing weddings, I can actually say that this past Friday's wedding was a first for me. The ceremony took place outdoors in Ringwood State Park in the pouring rain, but the bride and groom didn't notice a drop. Due to circumstances beyond everyones control, it was the shortest ceremony I've ever attended.

Samantha and Robert

The details put into the wedding we did on saturday was simply amazing. Everything had an asian theme to it, from the tiny origami swans in the bouquets to the bells hanging on trees with place cards attacted. The rice paper umbrellas made for great pictures.

Even the reception hall had an asian theme, which happen to be The Views at Mt. Fuji. There were so many great pictures we had a hard time picking out what to put on the blog. More of these pictures will be going up on our recent wedding gallery, so look for them soon!
