Tracy and Nick | Tides Estate

If rain is good luck for a wedding then Tracy and Nick will have plenty for years to come! It was practically monsoon weather when we arrived at Tracy's home and it looked like the outdoor ceremony they had planned for at the Tides was going to turn into an indoor one.  As luck would have it about an hour before the ceremony the rain stopped, the clouds dissipated, and the day turned out to be literally picture perfect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just before the end of the night Nick and Mary, the maid of honor, hit some bongos.

Fig Finds: Unusual Wedding Cakes Gallery

Every wedding has a unique cake, they can range from traditional to very modern and reflect the style of the wedding. I found a great flickr group dedicated to nothing but unusual wedding cakes. I thought it was pretty cool, and I am sure you will find it as interesting as well. Especially if you are still looking for inspiration for your own cake.

New look for our blog

As you can probably tell we've changed the look of our blog. After some hair pulling, head scratching, and a few hours of work, we've got it just the way we want it. We're very excited about this new layout! All the way at the bottom of this blog you will find a new "tag" feature where we have tagged all of our previous posts. You can now view our wedding posts by the reception halls they took place in! If you like the look and new features let us know what you think by leaving a comment.

Michelle and David

During the nuptual mass, Michelle and David included both sets of parents in the veil and rope ceremony to commemorate her Filipino heritage.





At the Knoll Country Club, Michelle took a moment to relax; The breeze moved her veil just right for this shot. I absolutely love her dress!










We were surprised (and momentarily confused) to find that David and his brother, the best man, are identical twins! (David is on the right in the silver tie... Yes, I'm sure!!!)

Melissa and Michael asked to have their engagement session done in Hoboken. We spent a pleasant afternoon on the campus of Stephen's Tech. They were a great couple to work with, they were a lot of fun! We're looking forward to working with them again on their upcoming wedding day.
