Nicole and Tim | The Venetian

It was just last month that we photographed Nicole and Tim's engagement session. The weather on the day of the wedding turned out to be absolutely gorgeous, unlike the engagement session; it had to be cut short due to the pouring rain! We photographed the church ceremony on Oakland, NJ, followed by their reception held at the The Venetian in Garfield, NJ.

We started the day at Nicole’s home to capture some prep shots before heading out to the church.

The beautiful staircase at the Venetian is always a perfect spot for portraits.

We love uplighting! These lights really add a lot of color to our photographs and add a dramatic flair to the room.

Jessica and Bryan | Venetian

Last year when we photographed Jessica and Bryan's engagement session we knew their wedding was going to be one to look forward to. They are a fun loving couple that have known each other FOREVER (well, at least since elementary school)

We stopped off for a few fun photos in the gardens of  the Venetian in Garfield, NJ where their reception was held.

It always gives us "Figs" warm and fuzzy feelings when see our former couples again. Here Justin and Jennifer hang out with the newly married couple. You can also see Jennifer and Justin again in the Trash The Dress session that we photographed on the Jersey shore!

Jennie and Peter | Venetian

Remember that one day in June it didn't rain? Jennie and Peter will. It was their wedding day, and it rounded out our triple weekend. We started the day at Jennie's home to capture some of the preparations before heading out to the church.

The ceremony took place at St. John the Theologian in Tenafly.

On the way to the Venetian, we stopped off at Davis Johnson Park for some portraits.

The reception took place in the newly completed ballroom at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ . It is quite large!  When you see the room for the first time, your jaw will hit the floor.  The party was non-stop filled with lots of good food and Greek dancing. One of the guests was thoughtful enough to gift Jennie and Peter with two bottles of  Windex, the Greek cure-all.

Christine and Chris | Venetian

Christine and Chris were a great couple to work with as you can see from their engagement session, so we knew their wedding would be fun.

Christine was flawless from every angle and could not take a bad picture, talk about photogenic!

The ring bearers were really looking forward to riding in that stretch limo.







Blooming tulips, blue skies with a dash of clouds, and thanks to lush green foliage in the gardens of the Venetian in Garfield, NJ  made for a perfect spring wedding.













Christine and Chris were recommended by our former bride and groom, April and Frank (Christine's brother), who's wedding we photographed 7 years ago. Their two ADORABLE boys were the ring bearers.
