Barbara and Carlos | Valley Regency

We first introduced Barbara and Carlos in our blog when they had their engagement session last fall. Barbara put in a lot of time and effort into planning the details of their wedding, and it showed.

Even though it poured during the ceremony, the weather cleared in time for them to be able to release doves as they exited the church.

 

The reception took place at the Valley Regency. The dance floor was packed most of the night while the guests enjoyed great food, and an eclectic mix of music.

Loretta and Philip | Mayfair Farms

Back in May, we blogged the engagement shoot we did with Loretta and Philip. Their wedding wedding took place last weekend.

Loretta looked stunning in her wedding gown. The detail in the back was absolutely beautiful.

The wedding took place in the chapel at Seton Hall University. This shot Joel took from the balcony shows how beautiful it is inside.

Despite the fact that it was brutally hot and humid (and threatened to pour any second) we were able to get some beautiful pictures outside on the grounds of Mayfair Farms.

Finally, the much anticipated Karaoke cocktail hour! It was fun for everyone.

The reception was a blast! The dance floor was hopping (literally!)

Jana and Rich Engagement Session

By looking at these pictures, you would never believe how unbearably hot and humid the weather was during the engagement session. Jana and Rich both look so fresh and genuinely happy to be there.

Rachel and Juan | Graycliff

Rachel and Juan are a fun loving couple and a lot of fun to work with. We had previously shot an engagement session with them (and their dog Leo!) That pre-relationship made them feel comfortable with us photographing them, and allowed us to capture some great shots of their day!

 

Rachel's bouquet was full of vibrant colors; it was gorgeous and stayed that way the entire night despite the heat. The florist (Parsippany Flowers and Gifts) had put little wet sponges at the bottom of the stems of all the girl's bouquets to keep them alive, and wraped them all in red ribbon to match the dresses.

When the Greycliff staff brought out the chocolate fountain it drew quite a crowd. Everyone wanted that chocolate so much that they didn't even wait for it to get hot enough to melt completely. The guests (and Rachel!) looked like they were really enjoying it.

Amanda and Dave | Brooklake Country Club

Amanda and Dave's wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Brooklake Country Club. We met Amanda early to capture some moments while she and her bridesmaids were getting ready.

These shots were taken when Dave got to see Amanda for the first time in her wedding dress.

Tracy and Victor

Tracy and Victor brought a tropical theme to their wedding, held at The Meadowood. From their table centerpieces to the box that held their rings, everything was colorful and covered with purple orchids.

During the ceremony, a butterfly landed near us and stayed perched on a flower for almost the entire proceedings.
