Karolina & Michael | Doolan's

Last month, when we photographed Karolina and Michael's engagement session, we knew that their wedding pictures would be fantastic - and they are! Here is but a small sampling of some of our favorite images of the day. The first image below was taken in front of St. Teresa of Avila in Summit, NJ. where the ceremony took place.

Karolina was very fond of their 1949 Black Cadillac limo.......she thought it would be fun to bring along toy guns and fedoras for a few "gangster" pictures. Very Bonnie and Clyde, no?

...then onto the beach at Spring Lake! We had so much fun photographing these! Karolina had told us she wanted to run around on the beach, but we didn't expect her to hike up her dress and literally run in the surf with Michael!

This particular wave of water took us all by surprise. Truly a  photo-journalistic moment.

The reception took place at Doolan's in Spring Lake, NJ.

Maria & Joe | The Estate at Florentine Gardens

We met Maria for prep pictures at the Park Ridge Marriott  before going to the Estate at Florentine Gardens.  When we first arrived,  we saw Maria's "something in blue" and naturally we got all excited. If you don't already know, the Figtree gals are really into shoes. Hair (by Sydney Madison Salon) and makeup (by Evelyn Abanto) was in progress.

The ceremony and reception took place at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ. Maria added some fun to the portrait session by bringing along rice paper umbrellas.

We love photographing at the Estate at Florentine Gardens... there are so many locations to get great images.

We really liked Maria's details. She had gorgeous letter press programs and sandal wood scented wooden fans placed on the seating for the ceremony.

It was so great to see Krystal and Adam again. Thank you for referring Maria and Joe, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at Megan and Laz's wedding!

Tara and Tom | The Knoll Country Club - East

Tara and Tom had a beautiful day for their wedding celebration at the Knoll Country Club East.

We couldn't resist taking quite a few pictures of Tara's dog Baxter....all dressed up for the occasion.

also quite irresistible, the absolutely adorable flower girl, Tara's niece!

One of the main advantages of the way Figtree Productions works (the team approach) is that we are in several places at the same time. Here, we were situated in such a way that we were able to capture the anticipation on Tom's face along with the thoughtful expressions on the faces of Tara and her father as they were about to walk down the aisle; along with the sweeping view from the front and behind as they approached the alter.  All this, accomplished quite unobtrusively!

Their first dance had a unique touch...sung and played on acoustic guitar by their friend and groomsman (and enjoyed by all!)
