Jamie & Vinny | The Manor (West Orange)

Jamie and Vinny were married this past weekend at The Manor in West Orange, NJ. Below are just a few prep pictures taken next door at the Residence inn (Special shout out to Gretchen from Salon 552 in North Haledon; the girl's makeup was flawless!) From there, we literally walked to the Manor gardens!

Since the reception immediately followed the ceremony, Jamie and Vinny planned to see each other for pictures beforehand, so that they wouldn't miss one minute of their party. Below is a series of images we captured from their first meeting of the day on the spectacular grounds of the Manor.

Kristin and Paul | Engagement Session

We just photographed a fantastic engagement session in Weehawken, overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Kristin and Paul almost made this session too easy for us, they could not take a bad photo! We're looking forward to their wedding next year at Seasons in Washington Twp.

Marianne & Jared | The Stone House at Stirling Ridge

Wow, time does fly! We've had Marianne & Jared's wedding on our minds for almost a year now, having  photographed their engagement session (click for link) wwwaaayyy back in 09'. We were looking forward to working with them again as well as working in the stylish Stone House at Stirling Ridge located in Warren, NJ. As their website describes it, the venue "radiates country elegance and luxury."

Since the ceremony was scheduled to take place after dark at the Stone House, we met up earlier in the day for some outdoor portraits.

The outdoor ceremony, bathed in fuchsia accent light, took place at the  Stone House.

... and the accent lighting in the ballroom added a festive touch and made the decor really pop. Romantic Gardens created the beautiful floral arrangements, while Starlight Orchestras (Rebecca Blake) had the party rocking all night!

Karolina & Michael | Doolan's

Last month, when we photographed Karolina and Michael's engagement session, we knew that their wedding pictures would be fantastic - and they are! Here is but a small sampling of some of our favorite images of the day. The first image below was taken in front of St. Teresa of Avila in Summit, NJ. where the ceremony took place.

Karolina was very fond of their 1949 Black Cadillac limo.......she thought it would be fun to bring along toy guns and fedoras for a few "gangster" pictures. Very Bonnie and Clyde, no?

...then onto the beach at Spring Lake! We had so much fun photographing these! Karolina had told us she wanted to run around on the beach, but we didn't expect her to hike up her dress and literally run in the surf with Michael!

This particular wave of water took us all by surprise. Truly a  photo-journalistic moment.

The reception took place at Doolan's in Spring Lake, NJ.
