Laurie and Craig
The cake was striking and caught our eyes. Laurie said it was delicious too.
Betty and Jamie
The frame holds 1,000 paper cranes that she folded as her way of wishing Betty and Jamie much happiness in their marriage. She relayed the story that this woman would fold these cranes everywhere she went. When people would ask her what she was doing, she would tell them about the wedding. It was her way of sharing their happiness with complete strangers. What a great story!
We were back at the Bergen County environmental Center in Wyckoff after the ceremony. That location is great for taking wonderful romantic pictures. This is a small sneak peek at some of the shots we got.
The reception at the Village Inn in Wayne was intimate, but packed with energy and loads of fun. The highlights for us were the special first dance (it must have taken some time to practice the choreography) and the throwing of the oven mitt and remote control in lieu of the garter and bouquet toss. (it's a long story)
Thank you Betty and Jamie for including us at the "Photography" table. We enjoyed the company at dinner.

Loretta and Philip
Great weather, great couple, and very natural in front of the camera. We are looking forward to the Karaoke planned for their cocktail hour. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun, and I'm sure a great photo opportunity as well. As of now they they seem to have quite a few volunteers willing to sing, and after a few drinks, maybe more.
Martianne and Bobby
What great sports! After traveling for quite a long time (and getting a bit lost) Martianne and Bobby arrived for their engagement session just in time for the heavens to open up! The rain didn't stop them from smiling, didn't stop the session, and certainly didn't stop us from capturing their great personalities. Here's a small preview -

Monica and Omar
These are just a few of our favorite shots from Monica and Omar's Engagment Session. Besides getting some great photographs, we really got to know them as a couple. More to come next month, when we photograph their wedding!
