Betty and Jamie | Village Inn

Betty is by far, one of the bubbliest brides I can remember. Her Effervescence was very contagious, and affected everyone. At the house, she showed us a gift given to her by the mother of one of her students (she's a teacher).

The frame holds 1,000 paper cranes that she folded as her way of wishing Betty and Jamie much happiness in their marriage. She relayed the story that this woman would fold these cranes everywhere she went. When people would ask her what she was doing, she would tell them about the wedding. It was her way of sharing their happiness with complete strangers. What a great story!

We were back at the Bergen County environmental Center in Wyckoff after the ceremony. That location is great for taking wonderful romantic pictures. This is a small sneak peek at some of the shots we got.

The reception at the Village Inn in Wayne was intimate, but packed with energy and loads of fun. The highlights for us were the special first dance (it must have taken some time to practice the choreography) and the throwing of the oven mitt and remote control in lieu of the garter and bouquet toss. (it's a long story)

Thank you Betty and Jamie for including us at the "Photography" table. We enjoyed the company at dinner.

Thank you, Joel, Doris, and Jessica, for being our paparazzi for the day. We were so glad to have you there. You made us feel very comfortable and special. Love the action shot of the remote toss! All of the photos are beautiful. We were so excited to see the "first look" shots up so quickly. Can't wait for the proofs. Thanks again for your warmth and professionalism. The bunny says hello and is eager to see the proofs from his photo shoot.
